Then we found Jedediah Smith State Park.
Redwoods National Park is really more of a loose conglomeration of national and state park lands where there are protected old-growth redwood forests. It's a pretty nice place to go to experience a quiet walk in a place that seems to be nearly untouched by humans, or fuzzy bear-like space creatures for that matter.
