We are staying at the Tom Sawyer RV Resort on the Arkansas side of the river, and as we unhitched things did indeed get newsworthy. The bedroom slider would not open. Have I mentioned you can't even open the door when the slider is retracted? While Kevin called the dealer I noticed a lovely sunset on the river and an approaching barge (only slightly larger than us). I went to grab my camera and remembered it's in that bedroom. So is all our clean underwear.
Thankfully, the other three sliders opened. This is a good thing, because this rig is just about completely useless otherwise. You can get in, but all the furniture is all crammed up together. Only the half bath remains in it's normal state and size, thus making a trailer so large it can effect local tides feel so small that you have to go outside just to change your mind.
I was just about to go outside and lay hands on the Bob when it decided to open all but the last little inch. Whew! My bed! My camera! Clean undies!! We had dinner, watched some more barges, and now we shall celebrate our first major disaster by settling down to watch Robin Williams in RV.
