So much for "speed-blogging." I can't even claim that we haven't had a good signal, 'cause anyone who follows the Family Blog knows that that's not true. Well, I'm so far behind here, I'm going to have to just skip over all the stuff we've done in between Canada and now so I can get to the stuff we've done now. Maybe I'll put a post up about that stuff another time, we'll see. But for now, let's check out the Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C.
There are actually several Air and Space Museum locations. We've been to two of them. The Main one on the Mall (the most visited museum in the world) and another one by the Dulles International Airport, which houses a Concord, SR-71 Blackbird, and the Space Shuttle Discovery.

So here's my review: Whether you go the the Main Air and Space Museum, or to the one by Dulles, you're gonna see and learn some cool stuff. But, to me at least, the main museum is more reading and less cool stuff whereas the museum by Dulles is more stuff and less reading (there's usually two paragraphs of info for each thing). It seems to me that the museum by Dulles has twice as many airplanes and things as the main museum, but probably half the reading material. I personally liked the museum by Dulles better. And if you have kids with short attention spans, go to the museum by Dulles. There's enough stuff to read for the adults to feel like they learned a lot, and more than enough cool stuff to keep the kids entertained. Plan to be there for a whole day.
