I’m not a writer so rather than mess up a wonderful experience by trying to assign words to it, I will just share the photos, but know that these don’t really do it justice. This is a place you should try to see for yourself.
We just spent three AMAZING days in my favorite place on earth. Okay, so that won’t be the last time I call a place such, but this particular chunk of the Mojave Desert is one I don’t think I could ever tire of. Joshua Tree is actually the place where the Mojave and Sonoran Deserts meet. As much as the Saguaro cactus is the icon of the Sonoran Desert, the Joshua Tree is what indicates you are in the Mojave. But for me, it just tells me I am in my own personal paradise. I’m not a writer so rather than mess up a wonderful experience by trying to assign words to it, I will just share the photos, but know that these don’t really do it justice. This is a place you should try to see for yourself.
Thanks, Wendy. No, this lady and her friend (or maybe they were dudes) wandered past our picnic site in JT. I kept my distance, shot with the long lens and they were kind enough to pose a bit before trotting off into the sunset.

Wow!!! GREAT shots...I had no idea there were rock formations, so unique and the Joshua Trees are a treat to see too. But nothing beats the family on the "bridge" in my heart! Love you all!! Nana

Wow....I am having San Diego flashbacks. Joshua Tree was one of my favorite weekend destinations on the Moto. I lost count how many times I went. Truly a special place on this earth. That being said...Zion is not far behind!!

The photo of Kevin under the rock and all of you on top is a beautiful picture of The Father holding His family up "Lead me to the rock that is higher than I." Psalm 61:2 Comments are closed.
