I was really hoping that at some point in the last three weeks Bigfoot would show up and give me fodder for a really entertaining post but alas, he remains true to his elusive history and all we have encountered is wooden sculptures of the legend. So in lieu of hilarious travel stories, I offer some random photos of our time here in The Beaver State.
Oh, Oregon! How do we love thee? Let us count the ways.
We love your ubiquitous Sasquatch sculptures and your random roadside oddities.
We adore your coastline, fit for exploring, photographing or playing frisbee.
Your national park is a treasure to behold, as well as to immortalize in art.
Your Powell's City of Books is a dream.
And so are your barns.
We dig your serene hiking trails to waterfalls.
But not so much the overcrowded ones with their swarming sea of humanit--OOOO! Is that FUDGE?!?
We enjoyed your Beaver State Fling Disc Golf Tournament.
Your rose garden amazed us.
We will miss you, Oregon. We will return.
